Mail Forwarding

Students

Maxwell will only provide mail forwarding for students when they are

  1. Targets of spam or other email abuse and forwarding will help resolve the problem
  2. They are going to be away from the University for at least one semester
  3. They give up their Maxwell email account on a permanent basis (and computer account if they are leaving)

Faculty/Staff

Faculty and staff may request electronic mail forwarding by sending an electronic mail message to This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it .  Most requests will be accommodated; short term (less than one week) or requests that take significant staff time or system resources will not be.

Syr.edu Aliases

ITS maintains an @syr.edu alias for most faculty, staff, and students.  Please reference the ICT's email knowledgebase for more information.
