Slides and Videos

To show slides in room 010, Classroom Presentation Services (x-5660) needs to be notified at least 48 hours in advance and they will charge your department the appropriate fees. For Maxwell faculty/staff there is one slide projector that may be signed out by contacting  This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it or by calling x-3847 at least 48 hours in advance.

To play a video in a classroom, turn on the projector and insert the videotape into the SVHS VCR. On the touch screen (CRESTRON), select Teaching Cart, then SVHS. The VCR controls will now appear. Press play and make sure the volume level for Program on the Crestron is UP. If you have selected VCR on the CRESTRON and it doesn't work, the VCR is not the proper source for viewing videotapes that you have placed in the Teaching Cart SVHS deck. From the Main Menu on the Touch Screen (CRESTRON) select Teaching Cart and then select SVHS. These controls will operate the proper VCR.
