This August Maxwell ICT is pleased to offer another round of Microsoft Vista and Office 2007 training sessions. 

If you missed the previous Vista/Office workshops please try to attend one (or more) of these upcoming hands-on workshops!  ICT will be offering these basic Vista and Office 2007 workshops at least once per month through the summer and into the fall as Maxwell departments migrate to the new desktop system. 

The information below will apply to faculty and staff after your home department has been migrated to Microsoft Vista and Office 2007.  It also applies to student computing accounts and public computing labs in Maxwell and Eggers Halls after the weekend of June 16th.  (If you are unsure of when these changes are coming to your home department, please contact This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it .)

 • On your desktop computer: Outlook rules and email signatures will need to be recreated.  You should be able to copy and paste your signature from messages in your Outlook “Sent Items” folder

Below is an overview of what ICT has done and will do during the School's migration to Microsoft Vista operating system, Office 2007 productivity suite and the centralized Active Directory system.

The planning for this has begun and will continue through the summer and fall semesters.

This spring semester, Maxwell’s Information and Computing Technology Group has an opportunity to evaluating a unique web-based communication system called Elluminate Live!.

This platform enables real-time (synchronous) communication between people anywhere on the internet. With this Java application, an internet connection and an Elluminate account, we can create a virtual environment where you can interact with anyone else on the web through live streaming audio and video, text chat, desktop/application sharing and more.
